Siemens Grid Software is looking to improve the security posture of their Spectrum Power 7 software solution, a comprehensive Energy Management System (EMS) used by power utility grid operators, by hiring a Cybersecurity Software Engineer.

Responsibilities
- Improving our Spectrum Power 7 Software Solution working within a team of 5-10 developers
- Requirement analysis and technical design of software solutions
- Implementing software in C/C++, Java and Python code base
- Developing test automation
- Reviewing designs of other teams and providing cybersecurity guidance
- Validation of software
Other
- Bachelor’s degree required—with a focus in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Software Engineering, Project Deployment, and R&D solutions
- Ability to travel 5% domestically and internationally
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- Proficient in written and spoken English (including security terminology) combined with good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
