HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to provide data related support, data investigation, research, data management and data reporting for a Government security organization to protect the nation's critical assets through enterprise risk management, continuous innovation, and excellence in mission performance and customer service.
Requirements
- Demonstrated working experience in technical data analysis, data science, or data warehousing with proven business analysis experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with SharePoint.
- Experience with some flavor of data visualization.
- Knowledge of MS Teams as a collaborative tool.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Passion for automation.
- Comfort in a complex data environment and understanding of data structures.
Responsibilities
- In coordination with Product Leads, develop, monitor, and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs for system operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to define meaningful metrics and ensure accurate data collection.
- Analyze system data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Work with a variety of data sources - extracting knowledge and actionable information from datasets.
- Build and flesh out data models for use in regular and/or automated reporting and analysis.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to access data from the customer’s systems, define measurement standards, and generate ad-hoc and recurring reports and visualizations targeted to customer’s operators, organizational leaders, and external (DoD/Government/Industry) stakeholders on customer’s performance.
- Design and implement automated reporting solutions to streamline performance tracking.
Other
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- SECRET security clearance is required.
- Ability to build tabular and/or visualization reports as needed.
