MAPFRE needs a data analyst to develop and validate insurance product rates and related services, contributing to the overall performance of the actuarial area.
Requirements
- SQL or SAS coding knowledge
- Analytical, and coding experience
- Experience carrying out quantitative analyses
- Participation in the market pricing training program and shows significant knowledge retention
- Experience in supporting at least 1 of the following areas of the business: PL / CL Product / Underwriting, Market Pricing, Claims, Actuarial - Reserving
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain countrywide data sets for all lines of business and systems
- Develop and validate data
- Ensure data accuracy and timeliness by developing optimal processes and procedures
- Use insurance knowledge to build dataset for Market Pricing's analytical needs
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Advanced Analytics and IT
Other
- 2-3 years of experience or equivalent related knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and makes changes with help of manager
- Completing basic to intermediate analyses independently
