Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) is seeking a Data Analyst to provide data to stakeholders to help achieve company goals by performing in-depth analysis leveraging tools and technology to display key performance indicators and utilize multiple databases to deliver data in actionable reports and visualizations for multiple departments.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Windows operating system, servers and associated application software (MS-office; Power BI/Tableau , Access, SQL, PowerPoint, MS Excel).
- Light knowledge or programing such as VBA, regular expressions, and/or Dax.
- State-of-the-art knowledge of rapidly advancing information systems technologies related to business applications including personal computer and database systems; data management techniques; computer operations procedures/techniques; of file structures and design, information retrieval techniques, file access methods and controls, development and documentation of standards/procedures.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, communicate clearly and escalate issues.
- Ability to install hardware/software systems, including operating system language processors, utility programs and system control files.
- Ability to minimize computer failures and maximize computer performance.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply programs in the operation of an electronic data processing system.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops and delivers reports with detailed analysis to drive action and business decision making and guiding stakeholders on how to analyze reports that have been created.
- Develops complex SQL queries to gather/integrate data from decentralized data sources and maintain a data foundation for use with reporting.
- Actively explore opportunities to acquire & integrate new data sources to expand analysis.
- Innovates methods to build more robust data pipelines & contribute to internal processes and utilized new tools to enable effectiveness and build on previous reports to scale across teams.
- Provides data insights, extract insights, communicate findings and map out next steps with stakeholders.
- Creates dashboards using enterprise reporting platforms and developing executive presentations with data/report analysis and insights.
- Maintains and analyzes workflow automation of data and e-form processing reporting analytics through graphical interfaces and spreadsheets.

- Leads role in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and define scope of reporting needs; Influencing stakeholders to derive maximum value from data.
- Maintains positive business relationships, confidentiality, good attendance, punctuality, and acts in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
- Must have the ability to travel within CVRC’s six-county-wide region as assigned or required.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate workload to meet deadlines; work under high level demands.
