Requirements
- Experience coding in SQL or R to query large databases
- Knowledge of statistical methods commonly used to analyze data and evaluate program impact
- Technical report writing skills
- Experience with creative and innovative data visualization, preferably in Tableau
- Subject matter knowledge about Health First Colorado, CBMS, PEAK, and/or other benefits eligibility systems
Responsibilities
- Contributes to quantitative evaluation of expanded Behavioral Health Diversion Programs and reentry services under Medicaid
- Works with DYS and DOC to monitor Medicated-Assisted Treatment (MAT) medications via an opioid treatment program
- Assists with behavioral health systems work, such as user acceptance testing and determining how best to structure the behavioral health data within our system
- Fulfills data requests about the Colorado Medicaid program from internal and external customers
- Utilizes business intelligence software such as TOAD for Data Analysts to write complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and writes code to manipulate data to answer specific questions

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Public Health, Data Analytics, Statistics or similar
- Six (6) years of relevant experience in data analysis, business analytics, or health program evaluation
