Responsibilities
- Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports.
- Develops and implements data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquires data from primary and secondary data sources.
- Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filters and corrects data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and update code problems.
- Works with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Geography, Statistics or related field
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
- Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Certification is required within one month of employment.
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certification is required within one year of employment.
- Work is performed in a standard office environment.
