Local Crafts Group is seeking a Data Analyst to analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform and enhance marketing strategies and operational decisions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus
Responsibilities
- Gathering, cleansing, and transforming large datasets into actionable insights, utilizing statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Develop and maintain data models and organized databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Create compelling visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor data quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
- Assist in optimizing operational processes through data insights and recommendations.
