Requirements
- At least 15+ years of experience with SQL queries and stored procedures in relational databases.
- Proficiency with SQL, dB Visualizer, AWS, Azure, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting development.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile project methodologies, including terminology and processes.
- Experience with data models such as HL7/FHIR
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance healthcare provider data quality from multiple source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Perform comprehensive data quality checks and generate dashboards to monitor data governance metrics.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HL7/FHIR data models, providing necessary business rules and definitions.
- Gather and document detailed business requirements and collaborate with IT system analysts during system development phases.
- Lead the development of master data management capabilities and manage client requests, including ad-hoc data analysis.
- Establish processes for reporting model outputs and maintaining historical data records.
- Optimize model outputs to improve operational performance and support financial objectives.
Other
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience accepted.
- 10+ years of experience working within healthcare or large managed care environments.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing analytic leadership and collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders.
- Convey business rules, definitions, and data standards effectively across various business units.
- Keep product and capability owners informed of business changes impacting data and systems, facilitating timely updates.
