Sierra Nevada is seeking to advance data literacy and business intelligence capabilities across the brewery to support informed decision-making in brewing, packaging, sales, and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
- 4 years in a data analyst role, preferably in a manufacturing or operations-focused environment
- 4 years Experience with SQL and Power BI
- 1 year Snowflake and Nielsen data
- Understanding of time-series data, production KPIs, and supply chain metrics
- Understanding of ETL/ELT workflows and data quality management
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly for data insight generation, natural language querying, or automated report development
Responsibilities
- Support Data Infrastructure and Analytics Development
- Assist in migrating legacy analytics and reporting code into Databricks notebooks using Spark
- Support management and organization of Power BI Fabric workspaces, datasets, and dataflows
- Write, optimize, and document SQL queries for use in reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with the Data Scientist to support scalable data transformations and pipelines
- Review and enhance existing Power BI reports for performance, usability, and standardization
- Identify data issues and work with data owners to resolve inconsistencies or gaps

- This is a remote role or hybrid based out of our Chico, CA or Mills River, NC brewery. Brewery based candidates are preferred.
