Homebase Medical is looking to optimize the quality of life for homebound older adults by enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes, requiring data analysis to support value-based care initiatives and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI
- Familiarity with Python, R, Snowflake is a plus
- Experience with EHR systems and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
- Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
- Understanding of healthcare quality metrics and value-based care models
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Gather, understand, and integrate healthcare data from multiple sources (EHRs, claims, patient surveys, etc.)
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
- Analyze clinical, operational, and financial data to support value-based care initiatives
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to track performance metrics (e.g., HEDIS, STAR ratings, cost/utilization trends)
- Support quality improvement and population health efforts by identifying trends and gaps in care
- Assist in building automated reporting tools and real-time dashboards
Other
- Experience: 1–3 years in a healthcare data analyst or similar role, preferably in a value-based care or population health setting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
- A background check is required.
