White Cap is looking to solve the business and technical problem of maintaining high-quality, reliable product data across its SKU portfolio. This involves ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and readiness for key decision-making processes by partnering with various business units.
Requirements
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Product Information Management solutions.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and best practices for maintaining large product catalogs.
- Familiarity with process automation tools, such as Alteryx or UiPath.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough analysis and cleaning of SKU-level data to eliminate duplicates, correct inconsistencies, and validate product records.
- Identify and flag duplicate SKUs within the product catalog.
- Track and manage discontinued SKU records, ensuring proper documentation and appropriate removal or archiving from active systems.
- Gather, verify, and standardize SKU attributes (e.g., size, color, material, etc.) from internal and external sources.
- Develop and perform regular data audits to assess the health of SKU information.
- Create and maintain documentation for SKU cleansing processes, data standards, and procedures.
- Leverage cleansed SKU data to develop meaningful analyses and recommendations for product lifecycle management, inventory optimization, and sales forecasting.

- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
- Effective communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols.
- Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises judgment.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
