Talent Software Services is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to support supply chain operations through advanced data analysis and reporting, primarily focusing on distribution, transportation, and warehousing functions.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization tools is essential, with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in these areas.
- Familiarity with database technologies, ETL processes, scripting languages, and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Experience in transportation, warehousing, international trade, shipping, customs, or brokerage will be preferred.
- Comprehensive experience in data analysis, supply chain operations, and database management.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience with database management systems and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and data visualization tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to determine data requirements and develop strategies for data manipulation, storage, and analysis.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes to support supply chain operations.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers and managing database configurations.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems, directing programmers and analysts to implement necessary changes.
- Test database programs and applications, identify and correct errors, and make modifications to improve performance and reliability.
- Develop and support data tracking and reporting dashboards to provide operational insights for distribution, transportation, and warehousing functions.
- Build and refine data reporting structures from the ground up, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational needs.

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, supply chain management, or a related technical field is required.
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering high-quality data reports on time are critical for success in this role.
- 5-7 years of comprehensive experience in data analysis, supply chain operations, and database management.
- Participate in project planning, execution, and stakeholder meetings, dedicating approximately 60-70% of time to project work and 30-40% to meetings.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and influence operational decisions.
