EC Source, a MasTec company, is seeking a Data Analyst to mine, collect, and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making across all levels of the organization, influencing compliance, quality, process adherence, and cost-benefit analysis.
Requirements
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL or equivalent database querying
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Office applications
Responsibilities
- Create, query databases, load, and maintain dashboards for the organization.
- Mine, collect, and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
- Work with diverse data sources and use SQL to reshape and optimize datasets for analysis.
- Create high-quality, performance-driven dashboards and reports using Power BI or equivalent tools.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses, test hypotheses, and uncover trends.
- Gain expertise in our core applications and collaborate with product teams to improve data capture processes.
- Help shape future data collection strategies.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within accounting or finance
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- A passion for driving change and decision-making through data
