TaxRise is looking for a Data Analyst to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions, improve performance, and drive business growth by developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, performing ad hoc analysis, and owning reporting in Power BI.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling), and Excel.
- Experience with Python and Azure Analysis Services is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user, financial, operational, and marketing data to uncover trends and opportunities that influence business decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards in Power BI that drive visibility and accountability across the organization.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and manipulation.
- Partner with internal teams to define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Respond to data inquiries and provide ad hoc support for leadership and stakeholders in real-time.
- Support experimentation efforts through A/B testing and statistical modeling.
- Maintain data quality standards, including lineage tracking, metadata documentation, and integrity checks.

- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with excellent time management and project ownership.
