ISC2 is seeking a Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that provide actionable insights to various business stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making through accurate and timely data analysis, trend forecasting, and KPI measurement.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service)
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and complex business scenarios
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data integration techniques
- Knowledge of additional BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Excel Power Pivot is preferred
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, or predictive modeling is a plus
- Experience working with relational databases and cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Azure Data Services (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights
- Build data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to enhance report performance and usability
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of reporting outputs
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric to integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI
- Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and KPI measurement to support strategic business decisions
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, security roles, and row-level security within Power BI environments
- Optimize Power BI service environments, including workspace management, dataset refresh schedules, and performance tuning
Other
- 7+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or DevOps (preferred)
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior analysts (preferred)
