Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Data Analyst to support a DoW Field Activity reporting to OUSW(R&E) at Ft. Belvoir. The ideal candidate has experience in Defense Business Systems, to include the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), and is highly experienced in Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and web design.
Requirements
- Strong background in and experience with Defense Business Systems , to include DAI or other financial management ERPs .
- Strong background in and experience with data visualization and dashboard creation, to include experience with Qlik and Power BI.
- Experience with SharePoint content management , web design, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R.
- Experience with Power Apps.
- Demonstrated experience compiling, organizing, and cleaning large datasets for input into dashboards or business intelligence tools. Experience with data mining and statistical analysis.
- Highly proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Identify trends and problems through complex big data analysis. Interpret results and draw conclusions from variety of sources using a variety of techniques, to include simple data aggregation, statistical analysis, and complex data mining.
- Gather and analyze technical information from various sources and create EXCEL/ SQL queries to retrieve specific information and parameters from database(s).
- Drive impact and value through the development and maintenance of dashboards.
- Utilize programs such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate to analyze data, automate processes, and help the organization make informed decisions.
- Transform data sets through quantitative and qualitative analysis into insights and compelling visuals that help inform decision making and improve the value of the enterprise.
- Manipulate large data sets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions.
- Plan and document meetings, to include providing reports, briefing materials and tracking actions.
