Requirements
- proficiency in developing and interpreting analytical models
- comprehensive understanding of financial statements and healthcare reimbursement models
- technical proficiency in MS Office applications
- technical proficiency in healthcare-specific software such as Lawson
- relevant certifications like CFA or CPA would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- analyzing data sets to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- developing financial models to forecast performance
- conducting market share and competitive analysis
- assisting in the preparation of the annual budget
- supporting certificate of need applications by providing detailed financial assessments and projections
- preparing reports for executive leadership
- monitoring financial performance metrics
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare sector
- strong communication skills
- ability to effectively educate clinical leaders and stakeholders
- maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies
