CommonSpirit Health is looking to analyze spend and contracting data to identify savings opportunities and provide actionable insights to support strategic sourcing, contracting, and operational initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other advanced analytic tools and software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace equivalents (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Outlook or Google Calendar.
- Proven expertise in developing analytic models to support supply chain strategies and savings initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical and data experience, preferably within healthcare or supply chain sectors.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and supply chain processes is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain analytic models to identify savings opportunities, support contract negotiations, and inform strategic decisions.
- Support sourcing, contracting, and implementation teams by providing data-driven insights and reporting to enhance contract compliance and operational efficiency.
- Create front-end analyses to assist stakeholders in framing contracting strategies and evaluating potential savings.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for various contract categories to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with analysts across different functional areas to standardize analytic practices and ensure consistency in measurement and reporting.
- Utilize analytics and key metrics to identify waste reduction opportunities and streamline processes across supply chain functions.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities by connecting data and insights, fostering a collaborative analytic community within the organization.

- Communicate findings effectively to clinical and executive stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making at all levels.
- Coordinate multiple requests, distribute tasks among team members, and communicate findings effectively to clinical stakeholders and leadership at both national and market levels.
- Progressive experience in project management is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
