CrowdGen (Appen) is looking to solve the problem of analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to generate insights that guide strategic and operational decisions, enabling organizations to develop and refine their artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
Requirements
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python or R, and visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of data structures, statistical concepts, and best practices in data visualization.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role; training programs are available for entry-level candidates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Dependable internet access and a focused work environment conducive to remote work.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and meaningful insights that inform business strategies.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations tailored to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Develop and manage data models, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance measurement frameworks.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of datasets.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including data dictionaries, processes, and workflows, to support data governance and transparency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using digital tools to facilitate data-driven decision making.
- Assist with data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
