IEM is seeking a Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist to provide data analytics and reporting support to its Disaster Response and Recovery management and other IEM staff, aiming to improve data-driven decision-making and streamline reporting processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in data mining, management or analysis consulting
- Intermediate to advanced use of Lucid Chart or Visio, Tableau
- Expert to Advanced knowledge and use of PowerBI and Excel
- Advanced to proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
- Basic to intermediate use of SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Work with large data sets
- Extrapolate conclusions from large data sets
- Develop data analysis and forecast models
- Analyze data and generate useful business reports and dashboards
- Use data to create models that depict trends in the client base and the client population as a whole
- Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results and effectively communicate interpretation of same
- Maintain databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity

- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to work remotely from home or personal office location
- Maintain minimum internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours
- Account privileges and access to your internet service provider account during working hours for the purpose of maintaining the internet connection
- Agile and able to be flexible and adapt quickly to changes during each assignment
