MajorKey Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst & Application Specialist to provide data-driven planning, analytics, reporting, and application support services for one of its clients, translating complex data into clear insights and decision support tools.

- Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Experience with enterprise reporting environments and SQL performance tuning
- Agile or Scrum experience
Responsibilities
- Analyze, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources (COTS systems, internal applications, flat files, and databases) to support planning, asset management, and performance reporting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel*, and related platforms.
- Perform data quality assessments, data mapping, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Support financial, asset, and performance analysis initiatives, including funding allocation, maintenance planning, and lifecycle cost modeling.
- Synthesize complex datasets into concise written analyses, executive summaries, and presentations for leadership.
- Provide functional and technical support for enterprise and departmental applications, including Microsoft-based platforms and reporting tools.
- Develop automated workflows, scripts, and repeatable processes (e.g., using Python, SQL, Power Automate*) to reduce manual effort and improve data reliability.

- U.S. Citizenship
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or application support (federal or public-sector experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing non-technical stakeholders
- Thrives in ambiguous problem spaces
