TransUnion is looking to solve business and technical problems in the field of data analytics, financial services, and consulting, by hiring a Specialist II, Consumer Experience to develop and automate analytical reporting, lead descriptive and prescriptive analytics, and build and optimize Python-based scripts.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and craft compelling client narratives.
- Python-based scripts for data extraction and statistical analysis on server and cloud platforms

Responsibilities
- Develop and automate analytical reporting using SQL on large, complex datasets; apply relational database concepts for data synthesis and segmentation.
- Lead descriptive and prescriptive analytics across the consumer lending lifecycle, utilizing techniques such as scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and segmentation.
- Build and optimize Python-based scripts for data extraction and statistical analysis on server and cloud platforms; manage end-to-end BI deliverables in AWS Redshift.
- Create interactive dashboards with Tableau, analyze industry trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product performance and support technical ad-hoc projects.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in data analytics, financial services, or consulting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
