MTA is looking to identify violations of traffic laws such as bus lane, bus stop or double-parking infractions using cutting edge camera, license plate recognition, and AI/ML technology.
Requirements
- Computer Programming – Medium to strong coding skills, with proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., JavaScript or Python).
- Relational databases – Practical experience working with SQL and relational database structures.
- Business intelligence tools – Experience using at least one BI platform, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data from installed ACE systems to evaluate the performance of associated artificial intelligence models and extract actionable insights.
- Create charts and diagrams illustrating system functionality.
- Compile reports using data from multiple, diverse sources.
- Document analytical processes and procedures.
- Develop scripts for data analysis and transformation.
- Aggregate these data, assist in generating performance reports, and support troubleshooting efforts as needed.
- Consolidate financial data from operational activities and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial reports.

- Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
- Major(s) Preferred: Data Science, or any Computer Science / Engineering with a focus on Data Science, or related field.
