The Texas Southern University Aviation Program is looking to solve the problem of collecting, analyzing, and reporting key data to support institutional effectiveness, accreditation, compliance, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power Bl),
- Spreadsheets (Excel), and database systems,
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with aviation operations, flight training data, or familiarity with FAA/AABI standards.
- Knowledge of academic assessment and accreditation processes
- At least 2 years of experience In data analysis, preferably In higher education or aviation-related fields
Responsibilities
- Compile and submit monthly Operational Readiness Reports, Including flight operations, simulator usage, Instructor hours, and student progression.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPls) related to safety, flight training hours, aircraft availability, and maintenance metrics,
- Prepare and submit quarterly AABI (Aviation Accreditation Board International) reports, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with accreditation standards.
- Provide detailed data analysis and reporting for Title Ill grant programs, Including performance Indicators, funding outcomes, and grant Impact assessments.
- Lead the compilation of Three-Vear Assessment Reports, tracking academic trends, graduation rates, employment outcomes, and student performance.
- Design dashboards, charts, and visualizations to communicate trends and performance metrics to faculty, staff, and university leadership.
- Ensure data quality and Integrity by validating sources and maintaining standardized processes.
