Supporting sales, operations, and engineering departments with data analysis and building dimensional data models within the enterprise data warehouse
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong research and data analysis skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (with advanced Excel skills)
- Python programming skills and familiarity with version control systems
- Familiarity with dimensional data modeling
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and challenges
- Analyzing data to measure business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Design and build Dimensional Data Models to be run on dbt-core
- Build dashboards in Apache Superset to help business stakeholders answer questions
Other
- Currently a student pursuing a degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- High level of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and creativity to accomplish goals
- Must be able to take a semester off of school to accommodate the co-op
