Emerson is looking for a temporary data analysis co-op student to assist in data architecture, automated data routines, exploratory data analytics, AI model development, and reporting to drive more efficient initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL and Python
- C, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills desired
- Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
- Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools are a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing and global service partners, as well as front end ordering systems
- Develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks in preparation for analysis
- Collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features
- Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models
- Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives
- Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams
- Assist with other project activities as assigned

- This position is a temporary 8-month data analysis co-op assignment from January 2026-August 2026.
- Only students currently attending college or university will be considered.
- Required Majors(s): Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related engineering or science field.
- Junior standing or higher
- GPA: 2.5 minimum
