Instacart is looking to improve its off-platform advertising business through data-driven insights and process automation.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Data Manipulation, and Data Analysis
- Experience applying Python (NumPy, Pandas, Other common libraries) programming to solve business challenges
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
- Development experience with Python, including working with APIs, building data pipelines, authentication, file handling, and raw data manipulation
- Experience with audience segmentation methodologies
- Exposure to working with large data platforms and handling sizable datasets
Responsibilities
- Utilize internal tooling to manage the day to day operations of building audiences used for off-platform advertising
- Write SQL code required to enable custom audience requests
- Troubleshoot issues directly within the Snowflake data warehouse
- Optimize queries for performance and maintainability
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns affecting Off-Platform audiences
- Execute Shell/Python scripts using command line tools to fulfill off-platform audience enablement
- Automate tasks and processes using Python scripting
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in a relevant business/domain
- Capable of collaborating effectively in team environments, especially on large/complex projects
- 6+ months contract
- Compensation: $70-90/hour depending on experience
