The Data Analyst for Extension and Extended Campus supports data-driven decision-making across non-credit programs by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets.
Requirements
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
- Ability to translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or institutional research.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in data analytics supporting continuing/professional education or in a higher education environment.
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
- Ability to translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources including enrollment systems, learning management systems (LMS), CRM platforms, surveys, and financial systems.
- Maintain and update data related to course registrations, client demographics, program completion, and outcomes.
- Analyze trends in client enrollment, course performance, and completion.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards for business units, division leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Identify insights to support program development, marketing strategies, and resource allocation.
- Assist with data preparation and reporting for accreditation, service and grant funding requirements.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.

- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business, computer science, education or a related field.
- Master’s degree in data analytics, educational research, business intelligence or a related field.
