Datadog is looking for a Data Analyst I to join their GTM Strategy & Operations team to help architect, enrich, and optimize the data that powers their go-to-market strategy. The goal is to build scalable processes, tools, and systems for a rapidly expanding global business, enabling actionable insights for Sales and Marketing organizations and directly influencing how the organization uses GTM data to drive strategy, measure performance, and accelerate growth.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries independently
- Experience with ETL tools such as dbt or similar frameworks for transforming and modeling data
- Experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
- Familiarity with Python, including an understanding of core data concepts, scripting fundamentals, and automation
- Experience using visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI
- Comfort working in spreadsheets like Google Sheets or Excel for data analysis and reporting
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows that power the GTM organization
- Own the operational data layer that supports core GTM metrics, dashboards, and automation workflows
- Develop robust data models in dbt (or similar tools) to transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets used across teams
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define and implement business logic that improves data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems
- Manage and optimize ETL processes to integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into centralized repositories
- Build repeatable frameworks for data validation, monitoring, and enrichment to ensure reliable insights
- Work cross-functionally to improve how GTM data flows between Salesforce, Snowflake, and visualization tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI
Other
- Minimum two years of relevant professional experience, including at least one year supporting sales teams or working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A naturally curious, analytical mindset with a drive to uncover the “why” behind the data
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent
