Lead data analysis, data modeling, and reporting initiatives that drive organizational strategy and decision-making by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, establishing data standards, and guiding data architecture best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL-based development and backend database technologies.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data governance.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures for analysis, data integrity, and reporting.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft-based tools.
- Collect, analyze, and integrate new datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Establish and maintain data standards, data dictionaries, and modeling practices.
- Perform ETL processes including data integration, profiling, and quality assessments.
- Work with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks for data processing and storage.
- Automate workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.

- Lead stakeholder interviews to gather and document data, application, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors on system enhancements, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Provide technical training and reporting assistance to non-technical users.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
