Abbott is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and uncover insights to create life-changing breakthroughs in the healthcare industry
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PowerBI and ETL (including DAX, Power Query, and report publishing)
- Experience with Excel and statistical analysis tools
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Knowledge of business intelligence best practices
- Experience in Data Engineering, System Analysis, or Web Development
- SQL query writing and optimization skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, leveraging DAX and Power Query for advanced data modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and quality checks
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
- Document data processes and maintain analytical workflows
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
