Mass General Brigham is seeking a bioinformatics analyst to analyze single-cell and spatial genomics datasets, along with other functional genomic data, to understand the underlying mechanisms of inflammation and tissue damage in autoimmune diseases.
Requirements
- Proficiency in R, python, or other programming language and familiarity with data visualization.
- Knowledge of immunology, molecular biology, cellular biology, computational genomics, or a related discipline a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for comprehensive data analysis.
- Perform data analysis using advanced statistical and computational techniques.
- Conduct literature reviews and assist in preparing presentations and manuscripts for publication.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator (PI) and lab members to refine existing analysis approaches and develop new methods.
- Undertake other related duties as needed.
Other
- Bachelor’s required or master's degree preferred with substantial coursework in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Collaborative, curious, and highly organized with a strong professional track record.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
