Requirements
- Knowledge of data quality assurance, data analysis, and data modeling
- Knowledge and understanding of one or more database management systems
- Solid understanding of logical database design principles
- Understanding of the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations
- Analytical thinking; accuracy and attention to detail skills
- Ability to use technology to extract and analyze raw data
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation about the data
Responsibilities
- Develop complex logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements
- Provide input in support of the strategic planning process and short- and long-term planning
- Assist in the development of data standards, policies and procedures
- Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data model
- Develop and maintain the logical and physical data models
- Utilize tools to monitor and mass update data changes
- Research and resolve production problems/system abends
Other
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- One (1) year work experience
- Written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members
