Hyundai's North America Quality Center (NAQC) is looking for a Data Analyst I to support business operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, developing reports, and delivering actionable insights that drive quality improvements on Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia NA vehicles.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Python and/or R
- Familiarity with various data preparation and analytics tools, text mining tools, and data visualization software
- An ability to recognize the needs of the end-user(s) and create reproducible solutions that answer those needs quickly and efficiently
- Adept in Microsoft programs, such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
- A strong analytical mindset
- Familiarity with Alteryx and Tableau
Responsibilities
- Utilize internal and external data to identify and break down automotive quality problems.
- Deliver clear problems with targets for the Investigation and New Model Teams to investigate.
- Utilize text mining tools for generating topics and/or enriching existing datasets with generated features classification tasks
- Maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Complete ad hoc data insights/requests as needed to support company goals
- Communicate results and business impacts within the team and to management
- Engage in on-the-job learning and follow best data practices

- Travel up to 10% of the time, both domestically and internationally
