Globe Life is looking for a Data Analyst I to interpret data, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the company. The role aims to identify trends, analyze patterns, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement or process streamlining, ultimately enhancing efficiency and business operations.
Requirements
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Python, R and data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw conclusions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Utilize analytics and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R, to identify trends, analyze patterns, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement or process streamlining.
- Clean and prepare data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and readiness for reporting and analysis.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Create and disseminate routine and ad hoc reports that effectively track and measure KPIs.
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Interpret business unit trends and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.
- Present data findings and insights to management, ensuring that data-driven recommendations are understood and can be acted upon.
