Fanatics Betting and Gaming is seeking a Data Analyst II to establish their Risk & Governance Analytics team, focusing on creating insights to drive business growth by partnering with Accounting, Tax, and Finance functions. The role will prioritize building product, financial, and marketing reporting, alongside providing ongoing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to extract data and transform it into both ad-hoc and structured continuous insights.
- Experienced with building dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong skills in SQL and Tableau.
- Experience with SOX and internal controls are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and build insightful metric definitions, KPIs, and reporting.
- Collaboration with other Analysts and Data Scientists to find solutions to business problems.
- Gather and present insights metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence over time.
- Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming world.
- Building product, financial, and marketing reporting will be a top priority for this analyst, as well as providing ongoing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Experienced with building dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong skills in SQL and Tableau.

- Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in Finance, Tax & Data.
- Become a key voice in driving performance in a number of business areas (Product, Acquisition, Marketing, & CRM) across both Sportsbook & Casino.
- Must be occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team building activities.
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships.
