Tennessee Oncology needs a Data Analyst to understand data requirements and individual needs across the organization, identify optimal ways to retrieve data, and deliver it back to teams in a meaningful way through technical solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL (1+ year(s) of experience or certification) - at least 1 year of experience is required.
- Proficiency in Python, JSON or other programming languages for data automations is preferred.
- Experience in API development across various platforms and knowledge of PowerShell or other Microsoft technologies is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- SQL or comparable data query coding certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.
- Build and optimize database structures and schemas for performance and reliability.
- Generate actionable insights through data analysis to support business decision-making processes.
- Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings and trends.
- Develop and maintain data automations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
