Foundation Finance Company (FFC) is looking to leverage data analysis techniques to interpret, understand, and forecast business patterns, transforming complex data sets into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying and scripting
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros (VBA preferred)
- Experience in creating and manipulating database formulas
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau, with certification (Tableau Certified Data Analyst or Tableau Desktop Specialist) preferred
- Understanding of data governance, data management, and reporting standards
- Ability to develop complex reports, dashboards, and trend analyses
- Knowledge of basic coding syntax and ability to migrate queries to new platforms
Responsibilities
- Migrate existing queries from legacy systems into modern platforms, ensuring seamless transition and functionality
- Maintain data integrity and optimize query scripts for efficiency and accuracy
- Create and enhance user-friendly reports and Tableau dashboards for staff, management, and stakeholders
- Develop new visualizations and reports to support various business units and projects
- Track, review, and audit software development projects from a data perspective, ensuring proper database access and usage
- Collaborate with staff, managers, and executives to develop data-driven solutions and strategic recommendations
- Execute complex operational and aggregation reports, providing detailed trend analysis and insights
Other
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Participate in workflow or process redesign initiatives to improve data handling and reporting efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach
