TransCore (TRN) is seeking a Data Analyst II to provide day-to-day technical support for all toll system operations, ensuring system stability and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) compliance through data analytics and performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Strong SQL and Reporting skills with a strong knowledge of database query, data retrieval, and data analysis including query generation.
- Experience in project requirement decomposition, traceability and KPI compliance validation.
- Strong statistical evaluation knowledge to ensure project compliance and accuracy.
- Experience in test fundamentals, test case generation and execution.
- Proficient with MS Office suite (especially Excel and Word) and other related analytics tools.
- Strong experience with data mining and analytics, reporting, and auditing techniques using SQL or other data visualization tools.
- Strong working knowledge of hardware, software testing or test fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the project and support teams with system triage and data analytics.
- Execution of periodic system performance evaluations and audits on a daily, weekly, or monthly cycles to ensure system stability and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) compliance.
- Support deployment and maintenance teams for software related maintenance, facilitating system tuning parameters, and ensure post deployment issues are resolved given scheduled tests, data analytics, and evaluation of reports.
- Assist the project team during major system installation and commissioning activities from a test plan generation, execution, and reporting perspective.
- Provide project related data and reports to the project team to facilitate daily operations and reconciliation efforts to ensure system compliance.
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly system analysis and audits.
