HCSS is looking to solve the business problem of supporting data-driven decision-making processes by analyzing complex datasets, developing insightful reports, and creating compelling visualizations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
  • Experience with Power BI Report Builder
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms, primarily Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and automation
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and seamless integration from multiple sources
  • Create visually engaging and informative data visualizations to facilitate understanding of complex datasets
  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of data throughout all analysis and reporting activities
  • Engage with stakeholders, product managers, and department leaders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis and visualization to continuously improve processes
  • Gather and interpret customer requirements to tailor analytical support and reporting solutions

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-team engagement
