The Center for Advanced Circuit Therapeutics (C-ACT) at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Data Analyst II to perform toolbox development for multimodal imaging processing, including structural, diffusion, and functional brain images, to support research and clinics using imaging, invasive and noninvasive electrophysiology, performance and behavioral metrics, computational modeling, and clinical and research bioinformatics involving surgical and nonsurgical neuromodulation patients.
Requirements
- Python programming for automated imaging data preprocessing, image visualization, and implementing statistical analysis
- Experience coding in Python, Matlab, and/or shell script, and image processing software packages (Afni, MRTrix, FLS, SPM, Freesurfer, etc.)
- Programming experience in medical image analysis and programming related to neuroimaging
- Experience with database application/management experience, preferably in a large medical center or healthcare environment
- Experience with report development
- Familiarity with multimodal imaging (MRI, CT, and PET) data preprocessing
- Experience with real-time imaging data processing
Responsibilities
- Programming to develop an automated image preprocessing pipeline
- Programming to implement the existing surgical targeting algorithm
- Programming to implement treatment selection imaging biomarkers
- Multimodal imaging (MRI, CT, and PET) data preprocessing
- Real-time imaging data processing in the operating room and validate the results for DBS surgical targeting applications
- Perform other related duties
Other
- Bachelors degree in computer science, statistics and/or related field required, or combination of equivalent work experience and education
- Masters degree in relevant field of study preferred (e.g., statistics, epidemiology, computer science, etc.)
- 3+ years of analytics experience
