Extend is looking to support the accuracy, integrity, and usability of financial data by hiring a Data Analyst to take ownership of key data processes such as obligor reporting and financial reconciliations.
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of finance and accounting concepts, with the ability to apply them in a business and data context
- Proficient in SQL, with experience querying large datasets and performing end-to-end financial analyses
- Experience with tools like DBT, Snowflake, JIRA, GitHub, and more
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, ideally within tech or fintech environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with data pipelines and data architecture
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights and recommendations
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance existing reporting and analytics workflows
- Oversee and enhance reconciliation processes related to obligor reporting to ensure financial accuracy and alignment across systems and stakeholders
- Build and maintain clear, insightful dashboards to track key financial and operational metrics
- Build and enhance data pipelines and data architecture in partnership with Data Engineering, using tools like DBT, Snowflake, JIRA, GitHub, and more
- Lead efforts to improve financial data integrity through appropriate tools and governance
