Motorola Solutions is looking to improve data quality and integrity across the organization by hiring a Data Analyst Intern to assist with data governance, data analysis, and master data management processes.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of database concepts and data structures.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel).
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing data quality checks and profiling on customer and supplier data using tools like Alation and Datactics.
- Support the Product Data Management project by helping with data mapping and analysis for product data integrations and conversions.
- Work with the data team to identify and resolve data discrepancies and implement data quality improvements.
- Help document data definitions, business rules, and data lineage to support data governance initiatives.
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Candidate must be in the Chicago/Schaumburg office 2 days a week.
- High School Diploma is required
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of May 2028 or later
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
