Emerson is seeking a temporary Data Analyst co-op to assist with data architecture, automation, exploratory data analytics, and AI model development to drive more efficient initiatives and improve data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- SQL and Python required
- C, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills desired
- Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
- Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing and global service partners, as well as front end ordering systems
- Develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks in preparation for analysis
- Collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features
- Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models
- Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives
- Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams
- Assist with other project activities as assigned

- Temporary 8-month Data Analyst co-op from January 2026-August 2026
- Only students currently attending college or university will be considered
- Minimum year in school: Junior
- GPA: 2.5 minimum
