Siemens Mobility is looking for a Rolling Stock Data Analyst Intern to help improve how rail vehicles are delivered in a timely manner by analyzing data and identifying trends within the Operations Departments.
Requirements
- Introduction to basic safety practices in factory environments
- Project management skills like developing/implementing plans
- Finance skills like calculation of Return on Investments (ROI). Depreciation planning, Asset planning
- Logistics management skills like planning, storing and tracking delivery of materials
- Supply Chain management skills of planning and ordering materials, economic batch planning for optimized logistics.
- Introduction to CAD software or other business software applications
- strong technical or analytical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Perform data cleaning and ensure data integrity.
- Create reports and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Develop and implement RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain RPA bots to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August

- Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred) with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
