T-Mobile is looking to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights to aid in the company's advocacy to government audiences

Requirements

  • SQL fluency with relational data; comfort joining large, messy tables and optimizing queries
  • Visualization skills in Power BI; able to design executive-ready dashboards
  • Applied stats (e.g., trend analysis, segmentation, basic inference) and strong data storytelling
  • Python in notebooks (Databricks preferred) for wrangling, analysis, and reproducibility
  • Cloud data familiarity (Azure/Snowflake/Databricks)
  • Clear writing and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Agile habits and strong organization in a fast, cross-functional setting

Responsibilities

  • Frame business and policy questions, define data requirements, and write great SQL to pull exactly what’s needed from Snowflake
  • Use statistical techniques to find trends, quantify impact, and separate signal from noise; write short, executive-ready takeaways that drive decisions
  • Create clean, reliable dashboards and one-pagers (Power BI) and lightweight prototypes/notebooks in Databricks for fast iteration
  • Triage and execute requests across multiple teams; set expectations; ship analyses that are right, readable, and on time
  • Profile, validate, and document data; work with data engineers on rules, remediation, and source-of-truth alignment
  • Snowflake + Databricks + Azure Blob; version with GitLab; diagram flows in Lucid; use AI models to speed exploration, QA, and first-drafts
  • Run exploratory analyses to surface trends and insights that guide action

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 2–4 years doing hands-on data analysis in SQL-driven environments
  • Team-oriented, partnering with data scientists and data engineers so you can maximize analytic output
  • Bias toward understandable metrics and crisp narratives that help leaders act
