NinjaTrader is looking for a Data Analyst to translate complex data into actionable insights that shape product development and enhance the trader experience across their desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with a modern data stack (BigQuery, GitHub)
- Experience building visualizations using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Strong ability to interpret product behavior and user flows through session data or event logs
- Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Heap
- Experience with experimentation and feature flag platforms like LaunchDarkly
- Knowledge of DBT (Data Build Tool) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain GitHub models and scheduled queries, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of datasets used in Looker Studio and BigQuery
- Assist in setting up and monitoring experiments using tools like Heap and LaunchDarkly to evaluate new features and improvements
- Perform quality assurance on frontend and backend event tracking to guarantee data completeness and accuracy
- Support data validation, troubleshooting, and refinement of event tracking to ensure reliable analytics
- Design, support, and maintain core dashboards that monitor acquisition, activation, retention, engagement, and other key product metrics
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing product performance and user engagement trends
- Partner with product managers to align data tracking with business goals, translating objectives into clear metrics and KPIs
