Abt seeks qualified Data Analysts to support a future Environmental Health opportunity. Analysts will work with scientific, epidemiological, and operational data to enable evidence-based decision-making, research advancement, and public health impact.
Requirements
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience working with large, complex datasets including health, environmental, or genomic data.
- Strong understanding of data governance and privacy standards in federal research environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with researchers to design and execute data-driven studies and assessments.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to scientific and policy audiences.
- Perform statistical modeling and trend analysis to support research initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with federal standards (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
Other
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a research or public health setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Data Analyst 2: Bachelor’s Degree + Two years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree
- Data Analyst 3: Bachelor’s Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Three years of relevant experience, or a PhD + One year of relevant experience
- Data Analyst 4: Bachelor’s Degree + Nine years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + Seven years of relevant experience, or a PhD + Three years of relevant experience
