Support state government agencies through our Medicaid Management and Administrative Reporting System (MARS), part of the larger Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). Focus on building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL pipelines to support complex state-level healthcare reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of ETL development experience in a data warehouse environment.
- 3+ years of experience writing stored procedures in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
- 3+ years of experience analyzing requirements and developing ETL specifications.
- 3+ years working with SDLC methodologies.
- 2+ years building pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- 2+ years with Python, PowerShell, or batch scripting.
- 2+ years processing JSON, XML, fixed-width, and delimited files.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows and pipelines for the Arkansas Medicaid Decision Support System (DSS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues across large and complex datasets.
- Optimize ETL processes to improve performance and reliability.
- Support intrastate agencies by creating and monitoring automated data extracts and data-sharing processes.
- Collaborate with state partners to create new file extracts based on business requirements.
Other
- Work within a cross-functional consulting team that includes Project Managers, MMIS SMEs, Business Analysts, Database Developers, and ETL specialists.
- 1+ year of Federal Reporting experience (Medicaid or similar programs).
- Leadership skills with the ability to independently manage smaller projects.
