This role will help break down large problems, develop approaches and solutions, and provide data-driven strategic insights for client transformation.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract data from data bases, including wildcard qualifiers and table joins
- Support forecasting, segmentation, and predictive modeling efforts using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the analytics lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from retail energy providers, including customer usage, pricing, products, transactions, invoices, and operational metrics
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly to internal teams and clients
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract data from data bases, including wildcard qualifiers and table joins
- Interpret data to uncover quality issues, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for operational or strategic improvement
- Support forecasting, segmentation, and predictive modeling efforts using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the analytics lifecycle
Other
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with retail energy (must have)
- Solid understanding of retail energy markets, including customer acquisition, retention, and pricing strategies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
- Previous Management Consulting experience
